Content Policy

1. Adults Only — Both Audience and Content

This site is intended exclusively for readers aged 18 and over, and every work we cover features adult characters only. We review commercially distributed adult doujin games, eroge, voice works, manga, and CG collections sold through official storefronts such as DLsite.

2. Structural Exclusions

Works depicting minors — including content using known euphemistic tags for such material — are never indexed, reviewed, recommended, or accepted through reader submissions. This is enforced technically, not just editorially: a server-side denylist screens every work entry and every user submission before it reaches the database. The denylist covers both English and Japanese terms and their common euphemisms, and is reviewed regularly.

We also do not cover content depicting real persons without consent, or works distributed through piracy. We link only to official purchase channels.

3. Quotation & Copyright Standards

Our Japanese Reception sections quote Japanese reviews and community commentary under Article 32 of the Japanese Copyright Act (fair quotation). We hold ourselves to its three practical tests: our own analysis is always the primary content and quotations are subordinate to it; every quotation names its source (and links where possible); and each quotation is no longer than needed to support the point. Translations are our own and are marked as such. Cover art and promotional imagery are used only within the scope permitted by rights holders; where permission is unclear, we use original placeholder art instead.

4. Editorial Independence

Some outbound links are affiliate links, disclosed on every page where they appear. Commissions never affect scores or coverage decisions, and our full scoring rubric is public. Review copies, when accepted, are disclosed in the review. We do not sell guaranteed-positive coverage under any circumstances.

5. Reader Submissions

Reader mini-reviews are human-moderated before publication. We reject submissions that violate this policy, contain spam or harassment, discuss piracy, or reference excluded content. Repeat abuse results in submission blocks.
